Lion Olufisoye Adenitan will on Sunday, 19th April, 2026 be installed as the 6th Club President of Akure Emerald Lions Club.
The installation ceremony with the induction of new members and inauguration of club executives will be performed by the Governor of District 404A-4, Nigeria , Lion Dr Robison Omonigho Okoro will be used to raise funds for various humanitarian services within the mandate area of the Club.
The event to hold at the Banquet Hall of Dejavu Hotel, Alagbaka, Akure, by 11:00 in the morning will equally be used to appreciate some eminent Nigerians who have in their respective capacity advanced the frontiers of humanitarian services.
The honouree include, Dr. Adekola Falohun, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Ondo State Governor; Dr. Seun Osamaye, Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development; and Prof. Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe, Vice Chancellor, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo.

The club described the honourees as individuals whose impacts in their respective fields aligns with the core humanitarian values of the Lion Club International.
