Ondo State-born music act Olalekan Olatubosun Olajuyin, popularly known as Gwizzie, is gearing up to release the official music video for his latest hit single, “Amapiano Mi”. The track, already making waves on social media, is set to hit dancefloors nationwide with the video launch expected any moment from now.
Speaking on the project, Gwizzie said the decision to go all-out on the video came from the overwhelming acceptance the song has enjoyed online.
“The way people have been using ‘Amapiano Mi’ on social media platforms showed me this was more than just a song. The fans demanded visuals, so we gave it everything,” he said.
The singer is also set to embark on a promotional tour next month to push the single to a wider audience. With years of experience and a growing fanbase, Gwizzie says the tour and video rollout are being handled by a team of industry professionals to ensure maximum impact.
Music has been Gwizzie’s path since age 16. He founded his own imprint, Little Game Players Records, while still in school, and later registered it as Little Game Player Entertainment Company in 2016. The label birthed his debut project, “Started from the Bottom”, which introduced him to the entertainment scene.
Beyond music, the artist runs a clothing line called LGP C&F, showing his range as a creative entrepreneur.
Gwizzie, who also plays drums in church, is urging fans across Ondo State and beyond to keep streaming “Amapiano Mi” on all platforms.
“This is the jam for the occasion. Keep streaming, keep dancing, and get ready for the video. We’re just getting started,” he added.
With the video in its final stages, “Amapiano Mi” looks set to cement Gwizzie’s place as one of Ondo’s rising voices in the Afrobeats and Amapiano wave.
