Scavenger’ arrested for kidnapping 8yr-old Girl with sack in Ondo

Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun Corps, have paraded a kidnapper who disguised as a scavenger in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

The suspect had succeeded in kidnapping an 8-year old girl after hiring her with a charm and thereafter put her in a Sack, but luck, however ran out of him as the little girl’s cries attracted her grandmother who raised the alarm.

Addressing newsmen over the incident, the State Amotekun Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspected kidnapper hit the little girl with a charm and immediately tuck her in a Sac bag and was about leaving before nemesis caught up with him

According to him, the suspect pretended as if he’s a scavenger picking rubbles, but luckily, the grandmother of the child heard the cry of the girl and when they looked round, they saw somebody already stepping away with the child inside the Sack.

Akogun Adetunji Adeleye who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, admonished Wards and parents to keep an eye on their children anytime they are playing around.
