Ondo Amotekun Enforces Discipline, Suspends Officers, Parades Suspects
The Ondo State Security Network agency codenamed Amotekun corps, has suspended three of its officers for gross misconduct and declared them wanted for proper investigations.
The suspended officers are; Abu Taiwo, Akinsipe Victor and Ekujumi Julius.
The State Commander of the corps, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye announced this in Akure today while parading four suspected criminals.
Among them was a 29-year-old, Bayo, who confessed to working as an informant for kidnappers after being trained in the use of AK-47 rifles by a group of Fulani men in a forest camp.
Also Nasiru Suleman, arrested for dismantling government-owned caterpillar equipment along Akure-Ondo Road; Salio Noreni, apprehended for robbery and arson around NEPA Market in Akure; and Ahmed Oludeye, caught with stolen generator parts.
