ODSFA: Ondo SWAN Applauds Board Appointment Of Ologunloluwa, Akinsemola Others

The leadership of the Sports Writers Association (SWAN), Ondo State chapter has congratulated Mr Bamidele Ologunloluwa and Akintunde Akinsemola on their appointment as Executive Chairman (Central) and full time member (NORTH) respectively.

Ondo SWAN also congratulated Oladimeji Abimbola as Full-time member (South), Mr Tokunbo Akinyelure as Part-time member (Football Association Representative) and Mrs Evelyn Lebi as Part-time member (Ministry of Sports Representative).

SWAN noted that both the executives and members are elated by the appointment which, it described as well-deserved.

“We commend Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for honouring Ondo SWAN family with this appointment.

“We thank the governor for finding one of our own, Mr Akintunde Akinsemola worthy of the appointment,” the association said.

The association also assured the new executive Chairman, Mr Bamidele Ologunloluwa, of members’ support in projecting, promoting and advancing the policies and programmes of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration to develop football at the grassroots

“There is no doubt that they will bring their wealth of experience and professionalism to bear and ensure a seamless, respectful and mutually-beneficial co-existence to take football to the next level in Ondo State.

“We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to Governor Aiyedatiwa for deeming it fit and worthy to appoint a thorough-bred, tested and proven core journalist, Mr Akintunde Akinsemola as full member”.

According to Ondo SWAN, the appointment is an excellent sign of better days ahead for football development in the state.
