No Automatic Ticket for Anyone’ — Gov’ Aiyedatiwa Tells APC Members

 

 

 

Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has assured that his administration will place increased priority on the health sector to improve service delivery across the state.

The governor made this known during the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting held in Akure.

Governor Aiyedatiwa explained that while his administration is making steady progress in other sectors such as urban renewal, agriculture, and infrastructure, greater attention will now be directed toward strengthening healthcare services for residents.

Meanwhile the governor announced that more notable individuals would join the party in the coming week. He said some of those who have already changed concluded plans to join the party included former deputy governor Mr Agboola Ajayi and chief Omolade Oluwateru.

Speaking on behalf of members of the Ondo State caucus in the House of Representatives, the lawmaker representing Akure North and South Federal Constituency, Mr. Denrin Adesida, commended the governor for his urban renewal initiatives, particularly in the state capital, praised the unity within the party and pledged the lawmakers’ continued support for the governor’s administration.

Also speaking, the Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, highlighted the improvement in security across the state, which he attributed to the governor’s efforts, and expressed his commendation.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the APC in Ondo State, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, alongside the party’s South-West Vice Chairman, Chief Isaac Kekemeke, urged party members to participate actively in the ongoing electronic registration exercise.

They emphasized that the e-registration would strengthen party records and prepare members ahead of future elections.
