NEW NAIRA: APC Suspends Political Rallies
The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has ordered the immediate suspension of rallies in all it’s structures across the State.
The State Chairman, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, in a statement by the party’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Alex Kalejaye explained that the decision is in sympathy with residents of the State over the current financial and fuel crisis ravaging the country.
According to the statement, the party has therefore directed party chairmen, and Directors-General at all levels, within the chapter, to suspend rallies, in sympathy with our people.
Mr Adetimehin expressed regrets that the country is experiencing unusual cost of fuel pump price and shortage cash flow few days to the much anticipated general elections.
He acknowledged the efforts of Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu at improving the situation and ensure security of lives and property of residents in the State.
Mr Adetimehin called on chieftains and members of the party to show more understanding and identify with those in their various localities.
