National Association of Nigeria Comrades Gets New Southwest Excos

The National Association of Nigeria Comrades (NANC) has inaugurated the new executives for the Southwest zone of the Association.

The event which took place at the Ondo state ministry of youth and sports development hall attracted youths from each state in the south west comprising Lagos,Osun,Ondo among others.

Others who attended the event included students union leaders,artisans and other professionals.

The new executives are;

Comr. Adedoyin Olakunle S. – Coordinator

Comr. Akinyoade Olaoluwa M. – Deputy Coordinator

Comr. Oyindamola Samuel – AGS

Comr. Olajide Oluwanifemi C. – Director of youths

Comr. Ogundare Motunrayo K. Financial Secretary.

In his remarks, the founder and pioneer President of the association, Comr. Samsudeen Ogunolu congratulated the new executives and charged them to key into the aims and objectives of NANC.

Mr Ogunolu charged them not to be involved in dirty politics but be ready to make meaningful contributions that would impact thier society.

In his keynote address tagged: “Youth Advocacy and Inclusion in Governance; A tool for capacity building and sustainable Nation/Future”, the speaker Ondo State Youth Parliament, Rt. Hon. Smith Ikumapayi said Youth can advocate through various means aside the usual street protest that often led to the destruction of public property.

He suggested town hall meeting in which Youth will engage the government on matters affecting them and the community at large, he noted that youths should come to the roundtables to discuss issues with the Government rather than embarking on protest which most times could be violent.

The new South West Coordinator of the association, Comr. Adedoyin Olakunle said his executives will ensure that all political office holders will be held accountable for all their electioneering promises and also push for youths inclusiveness in Government.

National Association of Nigeria Comrades (NANC) is a community of Progressive Youths and leadership birth on the resources for youth development and advocacy towards capacity building and sustainable nation.
