A 35-year-old criminal who had been terrorizing the residents of Owk in Ebonyi State in order to please his girlfriend met a grim fate as he was apprehended, severely beaten, and ultimately buried alive as a consequence of his criminal activities.

The man faced brutal punishment and was publicly paraded around the community after he attacked a woman in her shop and stole the sum of 500k. The suspect revealed that he intended to use the money to purchase a Brazilian hair and shoes for his girlfriend before his luck ran out and he was apprehended.

An eyewitness present at the scene of the incident, who prefers to remain anonymous, reported that the suspect was captured by an enraged mob after he robbed the woman and attempted to flee with the stolen money. The woman raised an alarm that attracted the attention of the crowd, who tracked down the suspect and apprehended him in his hideout.
