Hon. Biola Oladapo Empowers Students with Scholarships, Materials, Applauds Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Educational Drive

Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ondo West Constituency II, Hon. Biola John Oladapo, has concluded his Annual Free Summer Coaching Programme with the distribution of educational materials and the award of scholarships to outstanding students.

This was contained in a statement issued by the lawmaker’s Special Adviser on Media, Kabiru Bola Okunoye.

The closing ceremony, held in Ondo town, saw thousands of pupils and students benefit from free books, mathematical sets, socks and writing materials provided by the lawmaker, who also chairs the House Committee on Lands and Housing.

Hon. Oladapo said the initiative was designed to bridge learning gaps during the holidays and give learners the support they need to excel academically.

He added that the scholarships were awarded to reward hard work and inspire excellence among participants.

The lawmaker further explained that the programme complements Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s scholarship scheme, which is targeted at easing access to education for students across the state.

The event also featured an interactive session where Oladapo engaged with students, reaffirming his commitment to transparent governance and youth empowerment.

Party leaders, traditional rulers and community stakeholders, including Ondo West APC Chairman, Hon. Aro Bernard; Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Fayehun; and Alhaji Ajani Fatai Afaro, graced the occasion.

Stakeholders hailed Oladapo’s gesture as a step towards strengthening education and preparing the next generation of leaders in the constituency.
