Gov’ Aiyedatiwa Disburses ₦2.396bn Gratuity To 2016- 2017 Ondo Retirees

Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has launched bulk disbursement of ₦2.396 billion as gratuity payment to personnel who retired from the state public service from the 2016 and 2017.

Governor Aiyedatiwa described the payment as a product of deliberate policy, reflecting his government’s sincerity and respect for those who devoted years and expertise to the service of Ondo State.

He reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to clear all outstanding gratuities and uphold fairness, compassion, and accountability in governance.

Governor Ayedatiwa also encouraged retirees to enrol in the Ondo State Health Insurance Scheme to access quality and affordable healthcare.

In a remark , the State Chairman , National Union of Pensioners (NUP), Mr Johnson Osunyemi, praised Aiyedatiwa for restoring dignity to retirees and rekindling their hope for a better life.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Pension Transitional Department, Mr. Bummi Alade, commended the governor’s leadership and concern for senior citizens.
