AKURE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES 2027: My Development Blueprint and Pledge for Inclusive Growth and Quality Representation

Akure North and Akure South Federal Constituency stand at a defining moment in our shared history. The time has come to move beyond rhetoric and embrace structured, measurable, and people-centered development that reflects the true greatness of our Kingdom.

My vision is clear and unwavering: Inclusive Growth, Accountable Representation, and Generational Progress for Akure Kingdom.
This blueprint is rooted in service, fairness, and a sincere commitment to uplifting every ward, every community, and every household across our 23 wards.

1. Youth & Human Capital Development
Akure’s greatest asset is its youthful population. Their energy must be transformed into productivity, innovation, and prosperity.

My agenda includes:
•Federal-backed skill acquisition hubs
•Digital economy and tech incubation support
•Driving Employment Opportunities and Economic Empowerment for Our Youth
•Youth enterprise grants and cooperative financing
•Structured mentorship and internship pipelines
•Entrepreneurship development programs
We must prepare our youths not just for today’s jobs, but for tomorrow’s opportunities.

2. Infrastructure & Constituency Project Reform
Development must be visible, measurable, and equitable.

I will advocate for:
•Transparent tracking of constituency projects
•Improved rural road access
•Upgrades of community health centres
•Infrastructure Renewal & Community Development
•Water supply and sanitation interventions
Every community across Akure North and South deserves balanced attention and equitable federal presence.

3. Women & SME Empowerment
When women grow, Akure grows.

My commitment includes:
•Advocacy for market modernization
•Cooperative-based micro-credit access for women
•Business compliance and regulatory support
•Training in food safety and agro-processing
Economic inclusion is not optional—it is essential.

4. Education & Public Health Advancement
As a Public Health professional, I strongly believe that prevention, education, and community awareness are pillars of sustainable development.

I will promote:
•School infrastructure support
•Public sanitation and hygiene campaigns
•Community health awareness initiatives
•Federal linkages for tertiary institution advancement
Healthy communities build prosperous economies.

5. Agriculture & Agro-Industrial Development
Agriculture remains the backbone of Akure North and a critical economic pillar for our constituency. We must move from subsistence farming to structured, profitable, and industrialized agro-economy.

My agricultural development agenda will focus on:
•Federal support for farmers through improved access to inputs, tools, seedlings, and fertilizers
•Capacity-building programs and modern farming techniques training
•Cooperative strengthening and access to low-interest agricultural financing
•Irrigation and mechanization advocacy for improved productivity
•Agro-processing and value-chain industrialization to reduce post-harvest losses
•Market linkage programs connecting farmers directly to buyers and export opportunities

We will not only grow food, we will grow wealth.
Food security is economic security.
An empowered farmer strengthens the entire constituency.

My representation will be anchored on fairness, transparency, accountability, and unwavering loyalty to the people of Akure Kingdom.

I respectfully call on our esteemed leaders across Akure Kingdom and our great party, the APC, to see this movement as a viable pathway toward restoring and expanding the long-awaited Glory of our ancient city.
