AAUA Alumni, Akure Chapter Honours Ayodeji DF Oluleye with Distinguished Excellence Award
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group has congratulated its Convener, Hon. Ayodeji DF Oluleye, on his conferment with the Distinguished Alumnus Award for Excellence by the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Alumni Association, Akure Chapter.
The award was presented in recognition of Hon. Oluleye’s outstanding contributions to professional excellence, leadership, entrepreneurship, community development, and his sustained engagement in youth empowerment and public service.
Presenting the award on behalf of the Alumni Association, Dr. S. Layi Oladipupo, an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, described Hon. Oluleye as “a worthy ambassador of Adekunle Ajasin University whose journey from student leadership to national professional relevance continues to inspire the younger generation.”
Hon. Ayodeji DF Oluleye, an alumnus of Adekunle Ajasin University and former Student Union Secretary-General, expressed profound appreciation to the Alumni Association for the honour, describing it as both humbling and deeply motivating.
“This recognition from my alma mater holds special meaning for me. Adekunle Ajasin University shaped my values, leadership outlook, and commitment to service. I accept this award as a renewed call to do even more for Akure, Ondo State, and Nigeria at large,” Oluleye stated.
He dedicated the award to the youth of Akure and Ondo State, emphasizing that excellence, discipline, integrity, and service remain the strongest pathways to sustainable development and societal progress.
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group also extended its appreciation to the National Leadership of the AAUA Alumni Association, the Akure Chapter Chairman, executives, and members of the organising committee for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to celebrating excellence among alumni.
The Distinguished Excellence Award adds to a growing list of recognitions earned by Hon. Oluleye for his impactful work in environmental and public health practice, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and community-focused initiatives.
Hon. Ayodeji DF Oluleye is currently a leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, Akure North and Akure South Federal Constituency, with a long-standing record of service, engagement, and advocacy for inclusive development across the Akure Kingdom.
