Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry Flags Off 2025 “Glorious Month Convention” with Theme of Divine Restoration

The 2025 “Glorious Month Convention” of Christ Followers Evangelical Ministry, also known as New Glory, Ilugusi Estate, Ojo Ekun Road, Odo-Ona Elewe, Ibadan, commenced today, Monday, 1st September, 2025.

The annual spiritual programme, which runs from 1st September to 1st October, is structured into three daily sessions: Morning Prayers, Fire Revival, and a Powerful Vigil.

Each session features anointed ministers of God from across the country handling various assignments, including song ministration, deliverance, teaching, and healing.

The church auditorium was filled to capacity this morning as worshippers gathered for the opening session of this year’s convention themed “Divine Restoration” (Idapada S’ipo), drawn from Joel 2:25. Lady Evangelist Bosede Jemiyo led the congregation in a spirit-lifting praise and worship session that saw members dancing joyfully before the Lord.

Leading a short prayer session, the Founder, Prophetess Esther Oluwakemi Adebayo Adonai, JP, expressed gratitude to God for the impact the yearly convention has had on the spiritual, economic, and physical lives of participants over the years.

She noted with joy that some members of the church had relocated abroad with their families, while others in Nigeria continue to thrive in their chosen fields. She also highlighted the academic and career progress of children within the ministry.

Prophetess Adebayo reassured worshippers that church members, especially workers in the vineyard, had been spiritually, emotionally, and physically prepared for this year’s programme through days of prayer and fasting.

She urged them to remain committed in their service to God, assuring them of divine reward, and encouraged members of the public to participate fully in the convention.

The opening session featured renditions of hymns 662 and 397 from the CAC hymn book, with the congregation dancing to the melodious tunes. Other anointed ministers expected at this year’s convention include Prophet Samuel Jesuyinka, Prophet Olufemi Oni, Pastor Daniel Babatunde, Pastor Gbenga Olaleye, and Lady Evangelist Yemi David of Lati Abule fame.
