Comrade Oluleye, Ògo Àkúré Group Mobilize Citizens for Voter Registration, Reaffirm Dedication to Empowering Youth and Women

The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group (ÒAMG), under the leadership of its Convener, Comrade Ayodeji DF. Oluleye, has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing youth and women empowerment across Akure South, Akure North, and Ondo State at large.

Speaking during the group’s weekly engagement, Oluleye stressed that inclusive development, entrepreneurship, and leadership training for young people and women remain the backbone of building a stronger Akure and a more prosperous Ondo State. He emphasized that ÒAMG will continue to design and support initiatives that uplift families, strengthen communities, and provide platforms for citizens, especially youths to thrive.

At the same time, the group used the opportunity to call on all eligible residents of Akure South and Akure North to take advantage of the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. Oluleye highlighted that voter registration is the foundation of true civic participation and urged citizens to register, update, or replace their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

“Your vote is your voice, and your PVC is your power. We cannot talk about empowerment, development, or inclusive governance if we do not take part in shaping the leadership that drives these goals. Every eligible voter in Akure should is encouraged to seize this opportunity to get registered,” Oluleye stated.

The group further called on community leaders, traders, artisans, transport workers, and youths to support the mobilisation drive by spreading awareness about the CVR process in their respective communities.

Oluleye assured the people of Akure that ÒAMG will continue to complement government policies while remaining committed to building a city and state where development is inclusive, opportunities are accessible, and every citizen’s voice counts.
