Gov Aiyedatiwa Compares OSOPADEC Chairman To Biblical King David’s Mighty Men, Demands Action

Ondo State Governor Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has tasked the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) with ensuring the commission delivers tangible results that directly improve the lives of people in oil-producing communities.

Governor Aiyedatiwa gave the charge at a reception held in honour of the Chairman, the governor emphasized the importance of effective service delivery, and visible impact in the discharge of the commission’s mandate.

Governor Aiyedatiwa who could not hide his admiration for prince Poroye’s doggedness,capacity and intellectual prowess liked prince Poroye to king David’s mighty men urging him to ensure that lives of the people in the Southern region felt the impact in every sector.

He expressed his confidence in him to deliver the mandate, urging the board members to support the Chairman in order to achieve the mandate of the commission promising of his advice and prayers.

Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion, the State Chairman of SUBEB, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, lauded the governor for his strides and the appointment of Biyi Poroye as the OSOPADEC chairman. While expressing his confidence that he would live up to expectation, he congratulated him on his appointment, describing him as a competent and transparent person.

Chairman Planning Committee Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson noted that Prince Biyi Poroye would do wonders for the people of the state with his abilities.

Reacting, Prince Biyi Poroye appreciated the guests for turing up for the event, promising not to betray the confidence reposed in him.
