ONDO CENTRAL: APC Lays Strong Groundwork For Gubernatorial Campaign – Fadairo
As the November 16 gubernatorial election in Ondo State approaches, the Senior Special Assistant on Community Engagement for Ondo Central, Hon Femi Fadairo, has assured that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is fully prepared to make a significant impact once the campaign officially kicks off on Saturday.
Speaking at the APC stakeholders’ meeting with Mr governor, at The Dome in Akure, Fadairo highlighted the strategic groundwork already in place to ensure the party’s presence is felt in every part of Ondo Central.
“Even though the campaign will kickstart on Saturday, we have been actively engaging communities and ensuring that our structures are ready to swing into action”
“Our teams have been working at the grassroots level to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in each community, so once the campaign begins, we will be able to hit the ground running,” Fadairo stated.
On strengthening grassroots support, Fadairo noted that the APC’s focus will be on connecting with voters on the issues that resonate most with them.
“We have been listening to the people, especially on pressing matters such as infrastructure, education, and economic empowerment. Our strategy will involve addressing these concerns head-on, ensuring that voters see APC as the party that truly understands and will act on their needs,” Fadairo explained.
In response to questions about informal strategies being employed before the official start of the campaign, Fadairo revealed that momentum is already building through community outreach and sensitization.
“We have been using informal engagement sessions to raise awareness about our plans for the state. These interactions have allowed us to create a positive buzz and strengthen ties with community leaders, ensuring that the APC message is well-received even before the official campaign period begins,” he concluded.
