IDA Rolls Out Scholarship For Indigent Students

CALL FOR APPLICATION

This is a call for application for scholarship awards and financial assistance from all suitably qualified sons and daughters of Idogunland in public institutions in Nigeria.

This is an Idogun Development Association initiative powered by Hon. & Mrs. Joseph Adewolu.

The Award is in TWO categories: undergraduate and secondary school.

A. UNDERGRADUATE AWARD
Bursary Award worth fifty thousand naira (N50,000) each for six (6) full-time undergraduate students of Idogun origin in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

The Awards is purely for indigent and brilliant students fixated on academic excellence. Candidates should be from year two in the university or polytechnic and have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 5.0. Results must be provided.

B. SECONDARY SCHOOL AWARD
i. Five Best students in SS2 in core subjects of English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Idogun High School will receive a grant of ten thousand naira each.

ii. Best students in JSS 1-2 and three (3) indigent students in any of the classes from JS 1-2 & SS 1-2 will receive grants worth ten thousand naira each.

iii. Enrolment for UTME of two students in current SS3 class, who will graduate with at least 5 credits (including English & Maths)in WAEC.

NOTE: Beneficiaries of these categories of Awards will be gathered annually for academic review and prayers.

IMPORTANT DATES
i. Deployment of online forms and filling of forms – June 3rd – June 21st, 2024

ii. Screening of Applicants – June 25th – 28th, 2024.

iii. Review of Recommendations – July 2nd – 5th, 2024

iv. Announcement of Successful Applicants – 9th July 2024.

iv. Award Ceremony – 19th July, 2024
