The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the entire people of Àkúré, and the nation at large on the passing of the elder statesman and revered Afenifere leader.
Pa Fasoranti was a prominent progressive voice whose decades of public service, political engagement, and unwavering commitment to democratic ideals left an enduring mark on Nigeria’s political history.
As he goes home at 100, the Group honours a remarkable life defined by service, conviction, integrity, and dedication to the ideals he steadfastly upheld. His passing represents a profound loss to Àkúré, Yorùbáland, and Nigeria.
The Group acknowledges his enduring contributions to progressive politics and the advancement of democratic values. His principled leadership and commitment to public service will remain a source of inspiration to generations yet unborn.
