The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group, a socio-political movement committed to the progress and development of Àkúré Kingdom, has commenced the installation of its 2027 political support billboards across Akure North and Akure South.
The billboards express the Group’s declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, Senator Adeniyi Ayodele Adegbonmire, SAN (Ọmọ Ẹkùn) for the Senate representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, and Hon. Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole for the House of Representatives representing Akure North and Akure South Federal Constituency, all under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the Group, the billboard initiative marks the beginning of a broader programme of grassroots mobilisation, stakeholder engagement and public outreach ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The Group said its political direction is guided by the aspiration for “Renewed Hope. A Greater Nigeria.” and its commitment to “Together for a Greater Àkúré.”
The Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group further reaffirmed its commitment to engaging the people of Àkúré constructively and peacefully, while promoting its vision for effective representation, development and a greater future for the Kingdom.
The Group called on its members, coordinators and supporters to remain united, organised and committed as it intensifies its grassroots engagement across Akure North and Akure South.
