The Chief Executive Officer of Febisola Cultural Troupe, Mrs. Febisola Ogunluyi, has described the death of Chief Henry Akinsuroju as a great loss to the Ile-Oluji community and the cultural sector.
In a tribute, Mrs. Ogunluyi expressed deep sorrow over the death of the community leader, whom she described as a major driving force behind the establishment of the Febisola Cultural Troupe.
She said Chief Akinsuroju encouraged and supported her to establish the troupe, noting that his vision and commitment to cultural preservation contributed significantly to its growth.
Mrs. Ogunluyi recalled that the late Chief provided both financial and physical support to ensure the success of the cultural group throughout his lifetime.
She described him as a lover of culture and a father figure whose contributions to the promotion and preservation of Yoruba heritage would remain memorable.
The CEO of the cultural troupe prayed for the repose of Chief Akinsuroju’s soul and asked God to grant his family, the people of Ile-Oluji and the entire community the strength to bear the loss.
Chief Henry Akinsuroju was known for his interest in community development and the promotion of cultural heritage.
